How to install Windows XP and Repair it.

# How To Install Window XP:-

Minimum Requirements

Processor 233 MHz RAM 64 MB Hard Disk Space 2 GB

 

 

Ø Start Computer

Ø Insert Window XP CD Or DVD Into CD ROM

Ø Press F2 Or Del. Key To Enter In BIOS

Ø Go On Boot Menu

Ø Set 1^st Boot Device CD ROM

Ø F10 -> Y

Ø Press Enter To Start From CD ROM

Ø Enter

Ø F8

Ø If You Have Free Space Then Press ‘C’ To Create Partition

Ø Give Space In MB Like (10,000)
Enter But, If You Have No Free Space Then You Can Delete The Partition By Processing ‘D’ Key

Ø Now After Creating The Partition

Ø Press Enter

Ø Select NTFS Quick

Ø Wait Until Your PC Restart

Ø Should Not Press Any Key When Your PC Restart (Wait)

Ø After Some Time Or Some Minutes Language And Region Wizard Will open

Ø Next -> Give Any Name (ABC) In Name Box

Ø Next -> Enter Your Product Key

Ø Next

Ø Set Your Computer Name (ABC)

Ø Give Administrator Password

Ø Next

Ø Select Your Time Zone – Delhi

Ø Next

Ø Typical Settings -> Next

Ø Select ‘No’

Ø Next

Ø Wait For The Installation To Finalize

Ø After Completion It Will Restart Again

Ø Ok (When Display Preference Comes)

Ø Cancel (If You Click On Cancel Administrator It Will Login Automatically)

 

 

 

 

# How To Repair Window XP Form GUI (Graphical User Interface)

Note – Do This Only When Your Window XP Got Fully Corrupted And You Want All Your Programs And Features As They Were Default.

Ø Start Computer

Ø Insert Window XP CD Or DVD In CD ROM

Ø Boot Computer With CD ROM Support By Press F8 In Asus Boot Or Fiz On Other Board.

Ø Enter (When It Will Ask ‘Press Any Key To Boot From CD…’)

Ø Press Enter à Enter à Repair à F3 Quit

Ø F8

Ø Press ‘R’  [F3 = Quit] [R = Repair] [Esc = Do Not Repair]

Ø Wait It Will Automatically Restart

Ø Should Not Press Any Key

 

 

# How To Repair Window XP ‘NTLDR’ Boot File:-

Ø Start Computer With XP CD Or DVD

Ø Enter (Press Any Key To Boot From CD…)

Ø Press ‘R’

Ø Type ‘1’

Ø Enter

Ø Type ‘c:\windows>cd ..’

Ø C:\ D: ‘Enter’ (Here D: Drive Has CD Files)

Ø Type ‘Copy i386\ntldr c:’ Then Enter

Ø Exit

Ø Enter TO Restart PC
